この「海紋（かいもん）」は、数々の賞を受賞したアーティスト、ジェームズの手によって一つひとつ制作されたコードレスランプです。素材には、ユネスコ無形文化遺産にも登録されている伝統技術で作られた、岐阜県産の高品質な美濃和紙を使用しています。天然の楮（こうぞ）を原料とした「樹皮の風合いを持つ和紙」を幾重にも丁寧に重ねることで、手仕事ならではの有機的で豊かな表情を生み出しています。

Artist's Concept and Materials
The Kaimon (Sea Ripple) is a cordless masterpiece handcrafted by award-winning artist James. Each piece utilizes high-quality Mino Washi (Japanese paper) from Gifu Prefecture—a material whose traditional hand-making techniques are recognized as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. By layering "tree-skin" Washi (Japanese paper) made from natural Kozo (mulberry) fibers, James creates an organic, tactile surface that ensures no two lamps are ever the same.
