Artist's Concept and Craftsmanship
The Lotus is a monumental work designed to bring the healing warmth of a Hikari no Onsen (Hot Spring of Light) into your private space. Handcrafted by award-winning artist James, this piece utilizes traditional Mino Washi (Japanese paper) and natural Kozo (mulberry) fibers. Between 10 and 13 layers of Washi are meticulously applied to create a rich, organic texture. The edges feature a hand-dyed gradient, preserved with a spray lacquer finish for a refined and durable aesthetic.

Exhibition and Delivery Terms
Please note that this masterpiece is currently on special exhibition at the JeBon shop. Following the conclusion of the exhibition period in March 2026, the piece will be prepared for its new owner.

お手入れ方法
本作品は美濃和紙を何層にも重ね、クリアニスで仕上げを施しております。日常のお手入れは、柔らかい乾いた布で優しくほこりを払う程度で十分です。和紙の繊細な表情を長く保つため、直射日光や湿気の多い場所、ヒーターなどの熱源の近くは避けて設置してください。

Care Instructions
The Lotus lamp is constructed from 10–13 layers of Mino Washi and finished with a clear lacquer. For daily maintenance, simply use a soft, dry cloth to gently remove dust. To preserve the delicate Washi fibers and hand-dyed gradients, please avoid placing the piece in direct sunlight, high humidity, or near heat sources like radiators or heaters.
Exhibition and Delivery
Please note that this is an exhibition piece currently on display. Final delivery will take place after the exhibition concludes in March 2026. Due to its size, you may choose between direct pickup at the JeBon gallery or professional shipping (costs to be invoiced separately). We kindly ask that collection or delivery be arranged by the end of November 2026.
