Ryu（龍）折りたたみランプ — 持ち運べる「光の温泉」
Ryu（龍）は、折り紙のように平らに折りたたみ、使うときに立体へと広げられる、小さな手づくりのランプです。
コンパクトで持ち運びやすく、ご自宅で楽しむのはもちろん、大切な方への贈り物にもおすすめです。
龍が尾をゆっくりと広げるように、長く伸びた「しっぽ」をそっと引くと、平らだったランプがふんわりと立体的に開きます。
開いたランプの中に付属の充電式LEDティーライトを置くと、その小さなライトが内側から形を支え、Ryuがランプとして立ち上がります。複雑な骨組みや固定具を使わず、LEDライトひとつで形が生まれる、遊び心のある新しい仕組みです。
灯りをともすと、Ryuは小さな「光の温泉」へと変わります。やさしく温かな光が繊維の間から広がり、身近な場所にほっとひと息つける時間をつくります。
使わないときは再び平らに折りたためるため、収納や持ち運びにも便利です。
素材には、和紙の原料として使われる希少な楮（こうぞ）の内皮を使用しています。本作品では紙へ加工せず、自然が育んだ繊細な繊維の形をそのまま生かしています。
灯りをともすと、レースのように重なり合う繊維がやさしく浮かび上がり、自然素材ならではの豊かで一つひとつ異なる表情をお楽しみいただけます。
軽やかで繊細な素材を使用しているため、そっと触れ、やさしく扱ってください。その小さな手間も、Ryuと過ごす時間の一部です。

Ryu（龍）Foldable Lamp — A Portable “Hot Spring of Light”
Ryu is a small handcrafted lamp that folds completely flat and opens into a three-dimensional form, inspired by the simple transformation of origami.
Compact and easy to carry, it can be enjoyed at home or given as a thoughtful and unusual gift.
Like a dragon slowly unfurling its tail, Ryu opens with one gentle pull. As you draw out its long “tail,” the flat form softly expands into shape.
Place one of the included rechargeable LED tea lights inside, and the small light supports the lamp from within, allowing Ryu to stand upright. With no complicated frame or fasteners, the lamp takes shape around the LED light itself—a playful new structure that is both simple and surprising.
Once illuminated, Ryu becomes a small, portable “Hot Spring of Light.” Its gentle warmth glows through the natural fibers, creating a quiet place to pause wherever you choose to put it.
When not in use, Ryu folds flat again for easy storage or transport.
Each lamp is handcrafted from the rare inner bark of the Kozo, or paper mulberry tree—the natural material traditionally used to make Washi. Rather than processing it into paper, Ryu preserves the delicate network of fibers in its natural form.
When illuminated from within, the overlapping fibers emerge like fine lace, revealing the rich and individual character of the natural material.
Because Ryu is made from a light and delicate material, it should be touched and handled gently. That small act of care is part of the experience of living with the lamp.
